Description

i recorded the 1st generation of the Mackie CR1604 mixer, famously known for its 90s techno/schranz distortion vibes: - through a MOTU M4 Soundcard in 96kHz / 24bit / with TRS cables - in true stereo: mixer channel 5 is left, mixer channel 6 is right - both channels should correlate nearly perfectly with each other. - in meticulous steps of 1dB: increased 1dB for each channel amp and decreased 1dB on master channel for each step. until the preamps reached the melting temperature of +30dB. - i never touched the channel strip EQs.
