If you like my work & want to support it, you can do so here: https://ko-fi.com/2dornam 🙏 Mesa Boogie Badlander Rectifier 100W (EL34) reamped with the "Lehle P-SPLIT III" Trained with NAM v0.10.0 using the new methodology Steve published: https://neural-amp-modeler.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorials/calibration.html • SEND level: 19.488 dBu • RETURN level: 13.688 dBu No need to worry about the above values (SEND / RETURN) anymore - just use NAM plugin v0.7.12 (or later) with the "Calibrate Input" feature. Key in your input headroom / maximum input gain inside the "Calibrate Input" textbox and the NAM plugin will do all the math to get profiles to behave as if you were plugging into the real gear itself. Reamp chain details: -------------------- • RME Fireface UCX II -> Lehle P-SPLIT III -> Mesa Badlander 100W -> St.Rock React:IR II -> RME Fireface UCX II Additional details: ------------------- • 111 profiles (full amp, preamp only & poweramp only) included • Legendary Tones Mr. Scary mode included • Mix of my own settings, settings from the Mesa manual as well as from other artists (Mark Morton, Ola), YouTubers (Kyle Bull, Blake Mansfield) and some forum folks (PaisleyWookiee) • A guide to understanding how each profile was dialed & the source of inspiration: https://mega.nz/file/GkgiVKLA#B9a9PeMYsqag5CqT2-TpaX4O19_dNggcaDQSwee4U8g • AMP (full amp head) & POW (poweramp) profiles are direct; you need to use an IR of your choice • All profiles use the STANDARD architecture - they will run on the Dimehead NAM player • ESR graphs available here (most are below the established "Great" accuracy threshold; the rest are as close as the STANDARD NAM architecture allows it to be): https://mega.nz/folder/mkQAwbBT#6gW7eA6-KFxzQZZM0Fzdog • All amp settings were reamped twice: through the "Signal Art" as well as the "Lehle P-SPLIT III" • The leading "L-" in the profile name indicates the "Lehle P-SPLIT III" was used in the reamping process !!! ATTENTION, NERDS !!! (yes, that's YOU if you've made it this far): ---------------------------------------------------------------------- • Use the [CabMatch] impulse responses I included to adjust the frequency response of the profiles to my Mesa 2x12, Mesa 4x12 or both of them hooked up to the Badlander • You still need a regular speaker IR after these • These IRs cover all power ratings (20W, 50W and 100W) across both BOLD and VARIAC modes • To those familiar with the Fractal units, this is somewhat similar to adjusting the "Speaker Impedance Curve" in the AMP block. @2dor, thanks for the excellent captures! I have a question: [AMP] Mes.BADLND-L 100W BOLD CLEAN Noon #01 - DI - [A2] and L-[AMP] 100W BOLD CLEAN Noon #01 (Author) - [A1-Standard] sound slightly different (on the Dimehead Player that is). Why is that? It sound like the A1 version has a slightly more lower mids (which I prefer). Is the A2 version based on new recordings/captures? Thanks! Regards, Jsh
