Description
These are IRs from a 2x12 open-back cabinet with Goodmans 241 speakers with white front-painted cones taken from a mid-60s Vox cabinet, possibly an AC50. All IRs were recorded with AKG 130 and Beyerdynamic M160 in an improvised way through a Hiwatt. Ross Curry sent me the samples of the sine sweeps from his cabinet, I did the deconvolution of the samples and the post-processing to remove the amplifier's equalization. AKG Mic centered about 3 inches, ribbon 5 inches, Off axis 5 & 7 inches, including IRs recorded with the microphone pointed at the back of the speakers Thanks to Ross for recording the cabinet He is currently selling the cabinet, if you are from the Netherlands and are interested, I have added the offer link.
