Description

This is a fun one. Marshall JMP 1987, normal channel tweaked and cascaded into bright channel, and added pre PI master volume (it's better - fight me!). Switchable fat cap added on V2b. Adjustable depth mod also added, but not in use for these captures. I like 'em bright :-D Captures done with United Replay box and Creampie reactive load (based on a 70's Marshall 412 loaded with T1220 speakers). If, for some reason, you absolutely do not want to use the calibration function in the NAM player, these were done at 12,3dBu. I recommend using the Neutron Quantum Speaker greenback pack with this one, but other greenback IR's should also work well. I feel I should also mention that in addition to the mod making the amp a lot more preamp-distortiony these captures do not push the power amp at all. (MV at about 4) So if you're after the classic "squawk" and "kerrang" you won't find it here :-)

Cool mod. More gain than a typical Plexi. Is this the so-called One-Wire or RR mod?
