Description

This is now labeled as "incorrect". A more accurate version of the Decade's circuit is available here (and linked for convenience): https://www.tone3000.com/tones/peavey-decade-livespice2nam-84125 This will not be deleted, however. You can consider this an alternative voicing for the amp. --- WHY --- ・RC high pass filter grounded to 11V was left out on the 2nd op-amp's input signal, resulting in a far different voicing. ・NPN transistor model used was 2SC3919, which was an error on my part as the schematic layout doesn't explicitly specify that it was an in-house component exclusive to Peavey. The corrected version substitutes this for the 2N3391A. ・LED diodes were used as I believed they simulated the clipping circuit better than the 1N4148s at the time. The corrected version reverts back to the latter. [LEGEND] ・NOR - Normal Input ・SAT - Saturation Input [NOTES] ・All the models are captured with 8x oversampling and 64 iterations for the highest quality possible. ・All controls are flat so you can hear the amp as it is with neutral settings. I may add additional captures with "ideal" settings, but that's not a priority for now.. ・Should you wish to push more gain into the captures, use a separate gain utility/plugin and a clipper/waveshaper/limiter with a ceiling of -0.1dB or less before your NAM loader to prevent nuking the models if the input signal gets too hot. === First ever NAM captures with Architecture 2. About time I hopped on the bandwagon. A2 has been a significant improvement from its predecessor. I enjoyed the results so much that I decided to make NAM captures of some of my own LiveSPICE schematic files, primarily for convenience and CPU usage - especially with my music "workstation" being an early 2011 13" MacBook Pro as a Linux machine.
