A faithful NAM capture of the ProCo RAT 2 — the iconic distortion pedal known for its raw clipping, gritty midrange, aggressive bite, and ability to move from dirty overdrive to thick, almost fuzz-like saturation.
Captured dry (no amp or cabinet), this pack focuses entirely on the character of the RAT itself, giving you the flexibility to run these captures into your favorite amp model, NAM amp capture, or real amplifier.

🎶 INCLUDED TONES
This pack includes 4 captures, taking the RAT from low-gain grit through its classic distortion character to fully saturated, fuzz-like aggression.
- LOW
Light distortion with just enough grit and edge to add character without overwhelming your amp — great for low-gain crunch or pushing an already driven tone.
- CLASSIC
The classic RAT sweet spot — raw, gritty distortion with the pedal's unmistakable snarl, punch, and aggressive character.
- HIGH
Pushed further for increased saturation, compression, and bite — ideal for heavier riffing, aggressive rhythm parts, and thick distorted tones.
- MAX
The RAT pushed to its extreme — maximum gain, dense saturation, and a raw, almost fuzz-like buzz-saw character for the most aggressive tone in the pack.
---
These are pedal-only captures, with no amplifier or cabinet baked into the tone.
Run them into your favorite clean or crunch amp model, NAM amp capture, or real amplifier to build a complete signal chain. From subtle grit and classic distortion to heavily saturated, fuzz-like textures, the RAT works especially well when paired with an amp that lets its distinctive character come through.
Trained using the standard NAM sweep signal for maximum accuracy.
ENJOY! 🎸
