Description

Initial few shots of a PRS Archon 50-watt combo (2018 model). Signal chain for capture was RME Babyface Pro analog out > Shure A85F transformer > Archon IN > Archon Speaker OUT (8 ohm mode) > Julius Music Box custom load box (reactive 8 ohm load w/ Jensen DI) > Babyface Pro line input at -10dBV setting. -10dBV setting seemed optimal as a balance between input gain and noise floor, with no real ESR benefit seen at a higher input level. All amp captures only, no cab included in signal path! Amp settings and ESR are indicated in each file name. Please feel free to reach out if you're interested in captures with other settings.
