Description
NAM model of the boosted amp from the Line 6 Customtone preset with the same name taken from a Pod HD Pro X unit via S/PDIF as kind of a warm-up for training. It is Line 6's sim of a Bogner Shiva, that is boosted with an also Pod-internal TS-808. ESR=0.0014 Moderately saturated, but still rather tight high gain bridge rhythm tone used primarily with a '00 RG550 having a SD TB5 at the bridge in drop Db & Eb standard with Ultra Slinkys. Not tech death tight, but not GodCity saturated either. I use it with a roughly 70:30 mix of an MD409 and a U87 signal from a Mesa Boogie oversized 4x12 with V30s. A fitting free IR would be s-preshigh.wav from the infamous free Catharsis IR pack. As with all high-gain models, use of a noise gate is advised (use it wisely: after the amp, but sidechained/keyed by the DI).
