Sonicake Cowboy Distortion

The Cowboy Distortion is a high-gain distortion pedal from Sonicake which they market as being influenced by Dimebag Darrell and Pantera's sound. I'll let you judge about how much they nail that, but I am impressed with this small pedal given the price. Two different distortion modes can be toggled with the footswitch, and the LED changes color to indicate the mode. The red mode is more scooped and aggressive. I think this feels and sounds pretty good for groove, thrash, and modern metal. Gain was set as pictured for all models. I found Sonicake's mini pedal lineup after getting into their NAM stuff (Pocketmaster), so I'm putting this up in case others are considering it. You can find other pedals of theirs here on T3K too.
