Thompson - Jose Mod - 2026 - Take 2

My custom Jose Mod 50 watt build built in 2026. Captured with a Suhr reactive loadbox. Settings for this capture were: Gain1 = 10 Gain2 = 10 Bass = 10 Mid = 6 Treble = 6 Master = 5 Presence = 3 Variable Voltage Divider "Division" = 5 Gain 1 Bright Cap = Off Gain 2 Bright Cap = Off Diode Clipper = Off Depth = 0 Variable Negative Feedback = 9.5 (approx same as 47k on 8 ohm tap) The circuit follows a fairly standard Jose Arredondo mod topology but with more options added: 330k 2.7k 0.68uF 2.2nF first stage 100k 2.7k 0.68uF 22nf second stage 100k 820r 0.68uF third stage 33k grid stoppers on stage 1 and 2 470k 470k 500pF voltage divider/treble peaker Pre tone stack master volume Cathode Follower - standard Marshall with 100k to ground Tone stack 33k 500p, 22nF 22nF - Standard Marshall Selectable clipping 20v 1N4747A zener or MPSA06RA Variable "Divison" voltage divider pot after first stage Gain 1 and Gain 2 controls for stage 1 and 2 3-Way bright cap switches for Gain 1 and 2, 1000pF / 4700pF / Off Variable negative feedback pot Depth pot with selectable frequency caps 2200pF / 4700pF / 6800pF 5k 0.1uF presence circuit Filtering 32uF+32uF / 50uF+50uF / 50uf+50uF There is no zener diode or transistor clipping enabled on this capture. This is my second attempt at the process, hopefully with better results due to better levels.
