Victor 5F1 - 12TC7 - 6V6GT

The Victor 5F1 (Fender Champ 5F1 circuit) amplifier with my custom TX 12TC7 Red preamp triode feeding the default General Electric 6V6GT poweramp; I've lowered the plate V1A/V1B plate load values. The TX 12TC7 Red is a custom high-mu twin-triode featuring similar gain to a 12AX7 but with higher head room and a glassier, vocal-like even-order dominant breakup. I find this setup works nicely with the volume on the guitar dialled back a bit to prevent the 12TC7 from getting too harsh sounding.
