Description

A full rig version of a gorgeous mid 2000's all tube Vox AC30 equipped with Celestion Greenback speakers! Thanks to my colleague and friend Mauro Cippitelli (sound engineer and producer) for making his amplifier available! Miked up with Shure Sm57 and a replica of the Neumann U47 FET.

I've owned a Vox AC30 for years, and this model is incredibly accurate. Wow. Playing through Reaper w/ headphones, I can't even tell the difference. It definitely captures that bubbly sound of the Vox. I actually just played it through the FX return of my Marshall DSL40CR.. it's like the island of Dr. Moreau in my house right now. Thanks to @darkwaverec!
