Description

Last update: 2026-03-05 Equipment: - Vox AC4TV: 4-watt combo tube amplifier (2009–2014), 1x12AX7 preamp tube, and 1xEL84 power tube. It features a built-in attenuator (4W, 1W, 1/4W). Controls: Volume and Tone. - Tmiranda AT-1 attenuator / load box - Radial reamp box - Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th gen) audio interface Captures: The interface input gain was adjusted so that the recordings would peak around -8 dB. The captures were made using only the amp head (with the input.wav sweep signal); it is necessary to use an IR. I like playing this amplifier with my Telecaster using the P12Q or P12R IR (Jensen P12Q speaker) with a more balanced EQ. Feel free to test different IRs. Preview: You can select HONKY GUITAR and MESA 412 OS.
