VOX Bruno TB18C1 2012

This is an 18W all tube combo, designed by Tony Bruno and manufactured by Vox. Presented at NAMM 2012 this amp is now discontinued and hard to find. The amp uses 6V6 tubes (yes, for Vox purists 6V6 in a brit amp is blasphemy). It has a sound of it's own, it's a mix somewhere between a Fender and Vox, not totally a fender, not totally a Vox. British blood with American accent. Sounds sweet for cleans with headroom and edge of breakup tones. Try the cracked up captures, the drive has a nice rock flavor too ;) The amp is tubed with 2x 12AX7 from Tung-Sol & 2x 6V6GT from JJ. All mics captures are placed on cap edge. e906 captures on Hi-Z input. AT2020 captures on Low-Z input.
