Description

I’ve made captures of my Vexter Series Fuzz Factory. I dialed in some Stylophone sounding tones with the Comp control high (5 and up). I unfortunately didn’t crack the code for accurately capturing the more traditional Fuzz Face-type tones, so I did not include those attempts. For the training, I used a pickup emulator based on the AMZ FX project. Although the capture results were turning out harsher than I expected, I enjoyed the 8-bit tones enough to share. Settings are approximated from 0-10 in the following order: (V)olume (G)ate (C)omp (D)rive (S)tab For each Gate/Comp/Drive combination, I set the Stab control in 5 positions. I kept the Drive control midway to avoid the signature oscillations of the Fuzz Factory. I recommend setting the NAM Output mode to Raw or Calibrated if you use the auto input calibration feature. The captures were made with the TTSV10 input file, an experimental training file shared to the NAM community from The Tone Scientist (https://shop.thetonescientist.com/) These were trained with the Standard Architecture at 1000 Epochs.
