Zoom G3 HW STACK (Reference Amp for Fuzz and Brutal Gain Pedals)

A HIWATT-style tone is captured from my ZOOM G3, paired with various cab options. It is considered one of several "First Dial Amp” choices for fuzz and brutal gain pedals. A fairly balanced EQ is presented, with a breakup character that differs from the Fender-style tones I often use. The overall sound is perceived as neutral with a bright edge. It is complemented by various cab pairings to achieve the intended character. An objective platform for evaluating pedal response is provided, as the tone remains clear and not overly colored.
