1968 Fender Bassman Big-Box 2x12 Original matching pair of CTS Fender Special Design 12’s Speaker cones remanufactured in 1983 by Oklahoma Audio Mics used: 1 - Telefunken M80 2 - Earthworks SR314 ( 2 different versions ) 3 - CAD D80 4 - 47Fet Preamp: CAPI VP28 Red Dot -Telefunken m80 recorded on the marked center of the bottom cone (where the dust cap meets the cone) positioned straight at the cone, on the grill. -Earthworks SR314 , 2 versions: A - 8" away from the marked center of the bottom cone B - 1" off the grill, in front of the center and pointed off center about 15 degrees. -CAD D80 recorded on the marked center of the bottom cone (where the dust cap meets the cone) positioned straight at the cone, on the grill. -Custom 47Fet in Figure 8 recorded 2.22 ft from the grill in the center position T3K sweep sent direct to the Fender 2x12 cab using an Ampeg PF-500 power amp in section, bypassing all of the amp tone.
