Avatar V30 & G12H 4x12 Cab (SM57 & BH2)

A closed back two set speaker cabinet loaded with a pair of Celestion G12H's and Vintage 30's. Two mic capture using the SM57 on the V30 as the "bright" mic, and the JZ Microphones Black Hole 2 on the G12H as the "dark" mic. The capsules of both mics are 1 inch away from the grill. I recommend blending the two starting with the SM57 and blending in the BH2. Both mics are going through the SSL 2 MKII interface with the 4K preamp button engaged (an analogue color enhancement inspired by the 4000-series console), and the hi-pass filter, which is I believe at 75hz. For the power amp, I just used the FX loop of the Darkglass Alpha Omega 900. I don't know when this cab was made but I bought it used back in 2008.
