Description

A little experiment here, the Blackstar Mini Ampton 800 amp recorded with a Beyer dynamic Classis BM 32 B Half-cardioid Boundary microphone. The Ampton 800 built into Blackstar's mini digital modeling ecosystem (like the Beam Mini and Beam Solo) is a highly accurate digital model of one of the most famous guitar amplifiers in rock history: the Marshall JCM800. "Ampton" is the proprietary name for Blackstar's in-house suite of component-level digital software amplifiers, developed right at their R&D headquarters in Northampton, UK.
