Championed by artists including John Browne (Monuments/Flux Conduct) and built on the same St. James platform behind signature models for Jared James Nichols and Toby Lee, the St. James 100 has quickly established itself as a modern workhorse for guitarists who demand uncompromising tube tone on stage and in the studio. The St. James 100's dual power tube configuration pairs EL34 and 6L6 valves, letting you access raw British aggression, classic American depth and clarity, or a blend of both for a tonal range that would usually need multiple amplifiers to achieve. Four channels cover massive sonic ground: the Clean channel delivers sparkling, Fender-inspired American cleans with huge headroom, ideal as a pristine pedal platform. The Crunch channel moves into loose, Class A British territory, from pushed cleans and indie jangle to fat '70s rock overdrive. OD1 applies Blackstar's cascaded valve overdrive circuits with a classic British-style passive tone stack for mid-forward modern rock tones and soaring, singing leads. OD2 is the full metal jacket channel, revoicing the preamp for maximum saturation and reconfiguring the power amp for open-loop operation, delivering crushing low-end chug and contemporary high-gain ferocity.
