Casio EG5

Casio EG-5 built-in amplifier, powered by 6× C-cell batteries. The original internal pickup was de-soldered and replaced with an input jack, allowing a test signal to be fed directly into the amp section via a re-amp box. The amp was captured with the built-in drive engaged and at approximately 70%. Alongside the amp captures, a DI signal from the guitar’s output (post-drive circuit) was recorded. The 3" speaker was mic’d using a Sennheiser MD421.
