Description

MERRY CHRISTMAS AMP SIM WORLD GANG! Just some custom IR blends I've been using for our band's upcoming album. (Eureka viZia - GROUND PARTY). The digital rig I used when making these IRs was a Boss OD capture straight into the Quad Cortex's Diezel Herbert Ch2 model, using FenrIR to blend the IRs. I've found a decent amount of versatility with these 5 IRs, enough to make a fairly diverse progressive rock/metal album. I tend to use them in the following manner: DZL-BGN 12K+V30 - HIGH GAIN RHYTHM PVXXX V30 57-7 + DZL 412 12K+V30 - HIGH GAIN RHYTHM PVXXX-EMPR-SUNN - HIGH GAIN RHYTHM (But with less mids and chimier highs, more of a rock flavor) PVXXX 7B-5 + Zilla 2x12 NeumannU87 0_dc - LEADS, CLEANS DZL-BGNR-EVH - HIGH GAIN LEADS A more comprehensive version with Bass IRs, demo videos, and documentation will be uploaded in the near future. Rendered as .wav @48kHz sampling rate. Credit to Eddie Scharr for his Peavey Triple XXX 4x12 IRs, markswarbrick for his Zilla 2x12 IRs, dahmanmusic for their Sunn 4x12 IRs, as well as Ownhammer for their Heavy Hitters collections and York Audio for their 5153 IR pack. These blends would not be possible without the work of these original creators, and are not intended to compete with any commercial products made by Ownhammer or York Audio.
