Description
This is a capture of a LiveSpice simulation of an Open Source preamp I am designing. You can find the GitHub page here [ https://github.com/rossbalch/cc-reactor ] with the details. The reason I made a NAM model of it is that it's impossible to play this simulation in real time. I thought I would share it here to see if anyone would like to play around with it and see if they like the sound. This is a sim of the most gained out of the 4 channels, the "Meltdown" channel. Currently there is no EQ in the path, this is purely the clipping stage. There are two models, one is the stock clipping stage, the other has the "Dry" switch engaged. I recommend pairing it with one of my PowerAmp NAM models which are also available through my ToneHunt profile. In particular I like the R6P6 6505 Poweramp Profiles.
