Thermionic Culture Vulture Super 15 - The British valve distortion unit heard on countless records from Radiohead to The Black Keys. Captured across multiple function modes and gain stages. Each function has its own character - T (triode) for even harmonics and warmth, P1 (pentode) for odd harmonics and edge, P2-5 for more extreme asymmetrical distortion. The range spans from barely-there enhancement to complete signal destruction. Works equally well on individual sources (drums, bass, synths) or across stereo buses. Settings: HIGH presence engaged, bias around 3 for most captures. Function SQ3 at high gain gets particularly aggressive - you've been warned.
