Description

Here are captures of my Fender Super Reverb’s Vibrato Channel. The Bright switch was set to off. Volumes 4-6: Clean to breakup Volume 7: light crunch Volumes 8-10: Classic rock crunch Some possible starting points: Clean: BFSR Vib V-4 T-4 M-4 B-4 SRL 6dB.nam Breakup: BFSR Vib V-7 T-6 M-8 B-3 SRL.nam Crunch: BFSR Vib V-8 T-8 M-10 B-2 SRL.nam Maximum Gain: BFSR Vib V-10 T-10 M-10 B-2 SRL.nam I increased the treble and decreased the bass as the Volume went up. Mids around 7-8 supposedly are closest to the fixed mid values of Fender Blackface amp like a Deluxe Reverb. I've provided enough captures for you to simulate turning up and down the Treble and Mids in the most useful ranges. I turn NAM’s Output Volume up 12dB for captures of the amp’s Volume set at 4. The loudness of the captures with the Volume at 5 or 6 are much more to my expectations, with the loss of clean headroom. Signal Chain: RME UCX II Line Out – United Studio Technology Replay Box at 11.5dBu - Fender Super Reverb - Weber Z-Matcher - Suhr Reactive Load - RME UCX II Instrument In at 11.7dBu All captures trained at 1000 Epochs. I have to correct an earlier error. I used the regular V3 file for training. The high headroom cleans didn’t work well with the high frequency sweeps in the super input file that I normally use. ESR was lower with the regular input, so I stuck with it. Both Standard and xSTD architectures are provided. The Standard files should load in NAM hardware loaders. Input/output calibration metadata for 11.5dBu send/11.7dBu return provided. Impulses of the amp's P10R speakers can be found here: https://www.tone3000.com/tones/jensen-p10r-fender-65-super-reverb-4x10-61705
