Fender Twin Amp ('94 Evil Twin) Yellow Drive

Fender pro-tube Twin Amp (aka ‘94 Evil Twin) Amp only DI capture using MOTU 828 interface out to the RADIAL Pro-RMP into channel 1 on the amp. Amp 8ohm speaker out into Suhr reactive load back into MOTU 828 line in. All captures are small variations on settings I use in my studio usually with my Epiphone 335. All captures are using the yellow drive setting on the normal channel which introduces a gain stage and then have bass and treble around 7.5 and mids set between 2 and 3. This would normally be quite and extreme scooped sound on a normal twin reverb but with the yellow drive on this introduces a lot of mid range. I usually have the gain cranked or close to cranked and use my guitar volume to get cleaner tones. This amp comes stock with a fender special design speaker made by eminence which is also more mid forward than typical twin reverb paired speakers. Choptones and Tone factor have IRs for this speaker in 2x12 open back format which should suit the amp I have no plans to capture the drive channel or normal channel without the yellow drive switch as they’re a bit meh compared to normal twin’s or Mesa boogie amps. It’s a pretty unfashionable amp but I love it for this one sound!
