!!! IMPORTANT: CAPTURES ARE CALIBRATED FOR +18.1 dBu !!!
!!! USE THE NAM PLAYER AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION FOR CORRECT GAIN !!!
!!! TURN UP THE OUTPUT VOLUME FOR CLEAN CAPTURES !!!
This is only a teaser pack. If you want to support my work and future NAM endeavors, please consider buying the full pack with 76 unique captures:

This capture set is based on a FNDR DUO REVERB '65 Blackface reissue amplifier with silicon diode rectificaiton and a 4x6L6 output stage with 85W of power. Most of these captures were dialed in using a Kauffmann vintage strat with slightly overwound 60's single coils and a Gibson Les Paul Standard with Burstbucker Pro pickups.
I tried to cover as much ground as possible with 76 unique captures in 3 different capture architecture versions. Both the normal and the vibrato channels have been catpured and no external pedals were used, just the amp straight into the UA OX, which is supposed to have an impedance curve similar to a DUO REVERB 2x12 combo.
My capture sets are made with the utmost attention to detail and very high quality outboard gear (Neumann MT48 audio interface, Vovox cables, Suhr/St. Rock/UA OX reactive loads, Lehle P-Split III reamp box, serviced amps etc.).
The main selling points of my capture packs are:
- Very low aliasing due to a much longer training signal
- Very high quality captures with extra accuracy in the case of complex captures
- All captures are calibrated, no guesswork involved
There are also three types of captures in this set:
- Standard denoted with an "S" suffix
- ReverseXStandard denoted with an "XR" suffix (more accurate, similar CPU hit as Standard)
- Complex denoted with a "C" suffix (highest accuracy, highest CPU hit)
If your computer can handle it, go for the complex captures, otherwise XR is a reasonable alternative to the standard architecture.
Regarding the nomenclature of the captures: Each capture starts with either an N (normal channel) or V (vibrato channel) followed by a V with a number, which denotes the volume setting. The volume setting is followed by a a brief EQ control description and the bright switch setting (B means bright switch engaged, missing B means disengaged bright switch).
Since this amp remains very clean well into higher volume control regions, it's best to use higher volume settings if you want any gain out of these captures.
Lower gain captures are also low in volume, due to their dynamic nature, don't be afraid to turn up the output volume to compensate for it.
Signal Chain: Neumann MT48 Line Output -> Lehle P-Split III Reamp Box -> MB MK III -> Universal Audio OX (FNDR DUO REVERB 2x12 Impedance Curve) -> Neumann MT48 Line Input
Signal Chain Calibration: +18.1 dBu (Calibration Metadata Included)
*** IMPORTANT CALIBRATION INFORMATION ***
If you're using the newest NAM player VST, just enable the automatic gain calibration and enter your max input gain number into the little "cablirate input" window. if you want to do it manually, follow this quick guide:
- Find your audio interface's max input gain for your Hi-Z input in the manual or online
- If your max input gain number is lower than +18.1, then decrease the input gain by the difference between your max input gain and +18.1.
- If your max input gain number is higher than +18.1, then increase the input gain by the difference between your max input gain and +18.1.
Hope you enjoy this capture pack! If you have any questions or experience any problems, feel free to contact me!
Upon payment, you will receive a download link within 48 hours, usually much sooner.
