FRAMUS DRAGON 100W HEAD

FRAMUS DRAGON 100W HEAD This is the same model used by Killswitch Engage to record the album "The End of Hearthache". It's a 3 channel amp, with separate eq and volume per each channel and EL34 power tubes. The clean channel has a huge headroom and takes pedal very well. The low end is enormous. It doesn't sparkle or breakup much, though. The crunch channel is the one with the widest gain range. This channel - boosted with a MAXON 808 to tame the low end - is the one to go for metalcore chugging or crunchier, low gainier sounds. The lead is slightly more compressed and saturated, and has more gain than the crunch channel. The only things changing between the captures are channel and gain: EQ and presence are set flat for all of them. Master volume and channel volume are at fixed positions, where i think they sound best: Master Volum around 2 - to avoid too much sagging and compression, Channel Volume around 6.
