Human Gear Animato (Céline Emulator)

This is a capture of a Human Gear Animato schematic built on Céline Audio's circuit simulator. This software emulates (pretty well!) the behaviour of audio gear and pedals. For niche pedals like the Animato it makes it PERFECT. The schematic is from Aion FX (Polaris Distortion/Sustainer) and is replicated faithfully within Céline. It sounds good to me, it has that Muse vibe, I haven't been able to compare it to a real capture though. Captures were made using 16x oversampling for maximum quality). The layout is as follows : B - Boost. This controls the gain of the treble booster which is first in the circuit. D - Distortion. This is the amount of signal going into the Big Muff part of the circuit. T - Tone. This is a simple high pass/low pass tone knob. I leave it at noon. It's near the end of the chain so if you want to emulate the effect it has just put an EQ after the pedal. V - Volume. As this is fully digital I don't touch that and leave it at noon. This pedal was made famous by Chris Wolstenholme from Muse during the early days. It sounds really great. I have made a few captures with an old schematic but updated them when Céline added the components needed for the Animato specifically. It should be as close to the original as possible by Céline today (October 2026).
