The Marshall JMP-1 OD1 channel, captured across the full gain range of 1–20, with all EQ controls set to noon. Covers everything from lower-gain overdrive and classic rock crunch through to aggressive, high-gain lead tones. A versatile capture set for rock and metal tones! The Marshall JMP-1 played a key role in shaping Stephen Carpenter’s guitar tone during the Deftones’ White Pony era. Paired with a Marshall valve power amp, it helped deliver the album’s distinctive blend of aggressive saturation, tight low-end punch and cutting, slightly scooped mids.
