Marshall SC20 Stealth

A focused set of direct NAM captures from my Marshall SC20 Stealth, basically a 20-watt 2203. Every capture uses the same amp settings: PRESENCE 8 BASS 4 MIDDLE 10 TREBLE 2 MASTER 5 GAIN 7 Captured in 20-watt mode, direct from the head, so you’ll need to pair these with an IR. KEY: H High input L Low input B MXR M77 + Hot Mod V2 EVO, Bass switch up ++ Hot Mod V2 EVO, Bass + Gain switches up The MXR is set with full output, minimum gain and EQ to taste. The idea was to keep the amp settings fixed and make it easy to compare the stock amp, Hot Mod configurations, high and low inputs, and boosted versions without a load of redundant gain variations. It’s got that classic clangy, cranky 800 thing, big mids, tight low end, loads of pick attack, and it stays really dynamic even when you push it. I’ve been pairing these with classic Marshall or Mesa 4x12 IRs, usually V30s and a 57. Enjoy ✌️
