Hi everyone! Here is the all-time classic: the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone. The pedal that has found its way into almost every bedroom guitarist's rig. I was listening to a recording that had a funny but surprisingly captivating vibe in some parts, so I felt inspired to capture it. The "Flat" in the name is a bit of a joke—I tried to get a flat, centered midrange out of the MT-2, which is practically impossible with that EQ! :D Signal Chain: Guitar ➔ Buffer ➔ DI Box ➔ Clean XLR out (to record the DI) ➔ Re-amped into the MT-2 ➔ Audio Interface Hi-Z input. Yes, I boosted it! :D Note: The files marked with "+cab" have a free guitar cabinet Impulse Response (IR) baked into the capture, so they are plug-and-play.
