Description

Howdy! This is my captures pack for my Mesa Boogie DC-5 Ch 2. The DC-5 is a cool little amp that really captures that Mesa Boogie tone. It can be hard to dial if you're not familiar with it, but a hidden gem if you are. Think of Mark series and Recto mixed together. This is the first pack where I am applying some "trickery" to make my packs more usable right out of the box. These are still not mixed tones, but not completely raw either. Check out the demo video! In this one pack, I give you 6 rhythm tones and 2 lead tones. I had fun with the naming of these and you very easily see the type of tones I went after. Not exact tones but more of the character of the tone. These are not auto EQ matched in any way. I used my ears and the built in graphic EQ of the amp and a couple of notches here and there in post to get you in the ball park. This is what you really want anyways. You will never download a tone from the internet and have it sound the same as the person who made it or exactly like the album. So many variables to take in consideration. You want to be in the ball park and get the character of the tone and the rest is up to you. I used GGD Cali for the cab on the demo, but I dialed the captures using Mikko2 Free. (megabite) Epoch: Standard 1000 Reamp box: Radial Reamp Pro-RMP (Modded for unity gain) Load box: Suhr Reactive Load Reamp Reference Level: 13.3 dBu Interface: Focusrite Clarret+ 4pre I do this stuff for fun in my spare time becuase I enjoy it. Best way to show me some love is to watch my videos, like them and subscribe. If you would like to buy me a coffee: PayPal.Me/theobijuan
