OB1 Mesa Boogie Mark III (Red Stripe) — 7 NAM A2 Captures Here’s my new pack of seven full-rig captures from my Mesa Boogie Mark III Red Stripe combo 🤘 These are the tones I’ve been working on and sharing in my recent demo clips, with heavy riffs and lead guitar in mind. This amp has been tricky to dial in for captures, but it’s so much fun to play—and in the room it sounds glorious. I spent time tweaking the tones and checking them in a mix to get this pack where I wanted it. What’s included: • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Yellow • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Green • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Blue • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Red • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Purple • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Brown • OB1 Mesa Mark III - Orange All seven are captures of the same Red Stripe amp; the colors identify the different captures, not different Mark III stripe versions. Capture setup: Mesa Boogie Mark III Red Stripe, Fryette Power Station, Shure SM57, Sennheiser e906, Lehle P-Split, and Audient EVO 16. Calibration: 10 dBu. These are Amp + Cab captures with the cabinet and mic sound included, so no additional cab IR is needed. Load them in a NAM A2-compatible player try them in your own mix. Tips: • Don’t be afraid to use the TONE3000 plugin’s pre-EQ to dial in the right tightness for your pickups. • For extra low-end control, try the Fortin Modded TS-9 Tube Screamer captures by @colossaldave before the amp capture. They’re similar tones, but with different gain and low end. Red is probably my favorite, though—which one is yours?
