Peavey Decade (vintage)

Crunchier than a bowl of corn flakes, this versatile little pawnshop gem has been the vintage secret sauce for future and current rockers for decades. The normal input plays nice with vintage solid state clean sounds while the saturation input delivers a tone dripping with distortion that sizzles like bacon grease on a campfire. This combo is suprisingly versatile and has aged well throughout the decades. You used to get these for next to nothing when they were collecting dust in pawn shops. After Josh Homme revealed this to be his secret studio weapon, the Decade has become a sought after collectors item and priced accordingly. All sounds have been captured with a vintage Decade with the following EQ settings: Low 5 , mid 8 and high 8. Saturation goes from 1 to 10. Source is a vintage Peavey Decade combo. Preamp only, you'll need an IR. Small 8" speaker IR recommended for authentic effect.
