Description

Peavey Windsor. Peavey's take on a hot-rodded JCM800, and then some. Apparently this amp has a negative reputation, but it's hard to deny that it's unique design-wise. It's a JCM at its core with some extra features that are in line with Peavey, but the power amp section is quite different - the preamp tubes are wired in series as opposed to the standard phase inverter. The first stage is used for the NFB/Presence and Resonance controls, while the second stage features a patented Texture circuit that controls the amount of current going into the tube before driving the power tubes. Seems like some kind of bias control that doesn't do much if I'm being honest. ・Single channel amp /w a Boost switch that emphasizes the mid frequencies and jumps in volume. ・Peavey's patented Texture circuit controls the biasing for the tube driver before the power amp. 11 captures of it from 0 to max are provided for completeness' sake. ・6L6 and EL34 variants are included. ・Preamp and poweramp sections are also provided separately. [LEGEND] ・FULL - Preamp + poweramp ・PRE - Preamp section ・PWR - Poweramp section ・BST - Boost ・T - Texture [NOTES] ・All the models are captured with 8x oversampling and 64 iterations for the highest quality possible. ・All controls are flat so you can hear the amp as it is with neutral settings. I may add additional captures with "ideal" settings, but that's not a priority for now.. 　。Only exception to this is the Texture control.
