Description

This is the capture of the amplifier section of a Philips 19 RB 322 italian Cable radio (here known as Filodiffusione). It's from the early seventies and mixes a silicon preamp and a germanium power stage that puts out around 3W give or take. I made a slight modification to the circuit to achieve distortion (added an emitter bypass cap and changed a resistor) and did a quick cap job. Here it is captured through a homemade attenuator into the audio interface with different volume and bass settings (I believe the tone circuit is something similar to a James tone stack). I kept the treble knob cranked because to me it sounded nicer. As always, enjoy the jank
