Description

This capture profile models a Two Rock amplifier driven through a curated Xotic pedal chain, aiming to reproduce the natural break-up and dynamic response of the real analog signal path inside a Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) file. The rig behind the capture combines: Two Rock — the amplifier being profiled, prized for its clean headroom and touch-sensitive breakup, giving the capture its core tonal character and harmonic complexity. Xotic SP Compressor — running always-on ahead of the amp, tightening the attack and evening out picking dynamics before the signal ever hits the drive stage. Xotic Soul Driven — the namesake overdrive of this capture, contributing a smooth, mid-forward "soul" style crunch that sits between a clean boost and a full-on drive. Xotic EP Booster — an always-on echoplex-style preamp boost, adding treble sparkle and slight compression that shapes the front end of the signal chain feeding the amp. Together, this chain was captured to preserve the interaction between compression, boost, and overdrive stages hitting a real tube amp — so the resulting NAM profile carries over the amp's dynamic feel and the pedals' harmonic coloration rather than sounding like a static, flattened tone.
