Studio Preamps

Studio preamps. Do they make a difference? I think so but you be the judge. We live in a post-Jim Lill world, my friends. Anyhoo, this is a collection of plugin preamps I use all the time in my DAW. They're just nice little tone shapers, nothing too crazy - they just make things sound better but don't expect miracles. VoosteQ Model N Channel 84 Pre: A capture of the Model N 84 preamp in Mic mode, based on the character of a vintage 1970s Neve console preamp. This setting is about adding weight, harmonic colour and a slightly richer low-mid character to your sound. I use this after the cab or room sound in the chain, but you do you. Enjoy ✌️
