Description

This impulse response was created using an equalizer, not by recording a real speaker with microphones. The frequency response was shaped to resemble a retro British alnico-magnet guitar speaker. It is intended to be loaded into an IR box and used with a full-range speaker in the cabinet you prefer. Since it’s not based on a miked cabinet, there is no additional influence from microphones, mic placement, room, or cabinet interaction that you typically get when capturing real speakers. You can add HPF and LPF to taste depending on your setup.
