Description

Three NAM A2 captures of the physical Tone City Durple, the compact overdrive developed with Peter “Danish Pete” Honoré. Based on Tone City’s Mandragora, the Durple combines Gain, Volume and Tone controls with a Mid control for exploring smoother, scooped drive and punchier crunch. This collection covers maximum drive, a lighter scooped setting, and mid-forward crunch. Each model represents a fixed pedal configuration. Included settings—all values are out of 10: • Maximum Drive — Gain 10, Volume 5, Tone 5, Mid 5. • Light Scooped Drive — Gain 2, Volume 5, Tone 5, Mid 3. • Mid-Forward Crunch — Gain 6, Volume 5, Tone 6, Mid 7. These are pedal-only captures. Place one before your favorite amp model, then add a cabinet or IR as needed. Capture chain: PC → HeadRush Core USB Reamp → FX Send L/Mono → Durple → FX Return L/Mono → USB recording. Recorded at 48 kHz / 24-bit through an FX-loop-only rig, with no additional amp, cabinet, EQ, gate, or effects processing in the Core. If you enjoy these captures, check out Tone City and the original Durple pedal. No sponsorship or affiliation here—just appreciation for their work.
