Description

I recorded this combo amp using a ribbon microphone RM BIV‑1, and captured several gain settings: Gain 2 Gain 5 Gain 7 Gain 10 Although this is a guitar combo amp, it sounds really good with a BASS GUITAR too! This amp was very popular in the Soviet Union (USSR) and was widely used by musicians across the country. Technical specifications: Output power: 20/12 VA. Speaker system: one 12‑inch full‑range speaker (e.g., RFT L3402 speaker). Power supply voltage: 220 V, 50/60 Hz. Power consumption: approx. 30 W. Controls: the first channel has GAIN (pre‑amplification), BASS, MIDDLE, and TREBLE knobs; the second channel has GAIN, BASS, TREBLE, and a common MASTER knob that affects both channels. Connection feature: there is a SLAVE OUT output on the front panel — it can be used to connect a slave amplifier or to control external devices with the R221. Dimensions (W×H×D): approx. 37×46×20 cm. Weight: approx. 9.5 kg. Enjoy!
