Description

This pack contains 35 stereo impulse responses captured from the Zoom MS‑70CDR+ multi‑effects pedal. The recordings were made at 48 kHz, 24‑bit, stereo. All adjustable parameters that affect reverb tail length (Decay, Time, Size, etc.) are set to their maximum values; PreDelay is fixed at 0 ms; modulation effects (where adjustable) are turned off. This approach yields the longest and cleanest reverb tails without built‑in time offsets or modulation, giving you full control over the final sound when processing in any convolution reverb plugin (e.g., HOFA IQ‑Reverb, MConvolutionEZ, Waves IR‑1, etc.). The recording was strictly performed without modulation, as any nonlinear effects (chorus, tremolo, flanger) cannot be properly reproduced in a linear impulse response—they would introduce artifacts and instability during convolution. For algorithms where modulation is an integral part of the sound (modulation, tremolo, Holy, Mangled Space, etc.), the parameters were set to default values. The pack includes all 33 stock reverb + 2 not stock reverb types from the pedal: 1. Room Reverb — This reverb effect simulates the acoustics of a room. 2. Bright Room Reverb — This room reverb simulation can provide bright reverberations. 3. Tiled Room Reverb — This reverb effect simulates the acoustics of a tiled room. 4. Spring Reverb — This reverb effect simulates a spring reverb. 5. Spring Reverb 63 — This spring reverb sound is modeled on a '63 Fender Reverb. 6. FD Spring Reverb — This simulates the spring reverb of the '65 Fender Twin Reverb. 7. Plate Reverb — This simulates a plate reverb. 8. Hall Reverb — This simulates a plate reverb. Slap Back Reverb — This reverb creates a repeating echo effect. 18. Gate Reverb — This unique reverb is good for percussive playing. 19. Hold Reverb — This hold reverb effect is controlled using the foot switch. 20. Space Hole Reverb — This effect combines delay and reverb. 21. Particle Reverb — This is a unique complex reverb. 22. Modulation Reverb — This reverb generates fluctuating echoes. 23. Lo‑Fi Reverb — This rough in‑your‑face reverb is modeled on the LOFI setting of the TC Electronic HALL OF FAME. 24. Cave Reverb — This effect simulates the reverberations of a cave. 25. Reverse Reverb — This effect, which is modeled on the DigiTech RV‑7 (Lexicon) Reverse setting, sounds like reverb in reverse. 26. Echo Reverb — This effect can generate gorgeous echoes. 27. Tremolo Reverb — This effect combines tremolo with just the reverb sound like the Eventide Space TremoloVerb. 28. Holy Reverb — This effect combines reverb and flanger in a model of an Electro‑Harmonix Holy Grail set to FLERB. 29. Dynamic Reverb — This reverb, which is modeled on the TC Electronic NOVA REVERB, changes volume according to the dynamics of the input sound. 30. Shimmer Reverb — Modeling the Strymon blueSky in Shimmer mode, this effect adds pitch‑shifting and delay to reverb. 31. Shimmer Reverb+ — The pitch of the reverberation sound rises continuously in this magical reverb. 32. Mangled Space Reverb — This reverb has wild echoes like the Eventide Space MangledVerb. 33. Dual Reverb — This effect can combine two reverbs like the Eventide Space DualVerb. 34. CyberCity by Waveformer — A dense, metallic algorithmic reverb (Based on Airwindows kCyberCity by Chris Johnson (MIT), not a stock FX). 35. Galactic by Waveformer — A large, smooth, pitch-drifting reverb (Based on Airwindows Galactic by Chris Johnson (MIT), not a stock FX). Usage recommendations: When using these IRs in a convolution reverb, we suggest setting reverb length and size parameters (e.g., Size/Decay) to about 50‑70% of maximum to avoid excessive boominess and mix clutter. Apply low‑pass and high‑pass filters (LPF and HPF) to taste for a more natural or purposely colored sound. These impulse responses are perfect for ambient textures, sound design, and deep spatial effects in any DAW.
