1200 seat modern concert hall

These are an old IR set I found online many years ago. I do not know who the original creator is, but the below are the original notes with the IRs: 200 seat modern concert hall. All IR's are strictly non-commercial and not for sale. Recording notes : Recorded 21/01/04 6 stage positions - FL front left FC front center FR front right BL back left etc. Back was only 3m50 back, as the stage was set on the 'chamber music' setting (there is a gigantic theatre stage, which can be fully surrounded by acoustic elements, and closed by an acoustic roof, for orchestras - but in this setting the steel separation was closed, effectively making the stage/hall a lot smaller but still quite big. The big stage setting would allow depths of around 15 m !) FAR means that these IR's were made at the 13th row (approx 9m from the stage, 3m high). fst means front stereo, rst means rear stereo. The IR mic was a double MS (surround) setup, so you can put eg BC FAR fst in the front speakers and BC FAR rst in the back speakers to create a surround reverb (the rear reverb width should be set at about 60-70% of the front width, or less). All levels and time offsets are preserved, I took special care ! Please do not use any auto-gain functionality. To be completely precise, one has to cut 7 ms from the beginning of all IRs. In the reverb program one should also try to get rid of the first attack in the IRs, as this has a bit of speaker coloration. Another advantage of the surround setup is : one can mix fst and rst to give an omnidirectional response to the IR, or any other blend (the rst has quite a pronounced slapback). You can also go back to the original front mid, side, and back mid impulses, allowing you to alter recording angles and save 1 convolving channel (front mid, side, back mid instead of front stereo and back stereo). Mics : 2xSennheiser MKH80 on cardioid, 1x Sennheiser MKH30 figure of eight. Mic Pre : Gracedesign 801R, A/D conversion : Soundscape 24 bit convertors at 24bit/44.1K. Edited in Soundscape V4.0. The playback system was a Bryston 3BSST power amp into Link K50 studio monitors (40 Hz to 20 KHz, very ideal radiation pattern)
