Some clever person came up with a hack that creates a stepped gain staged single file model from, for instance, 10 models of various gain stages. While a cool idea but not really practical workflow-wise, and for that reason hasn't been adopted, it does expose a flaw in some of the recent flood of NAM loaders that have surfaced, in that some of them will default to the lowest quality model version, with no way of changing that. Try it in Gateway or Two-Notes Codex and you get gain from 1-10 in steps, from the slim knob. In the other new loaders you'll only get gain 1, or a switch between 1 and 10. Just something I find interesting, that other people also might.
