We're pleased to offer official Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) captures in partnership with TONE3000.
The Blackstar TV-10 AH is a 10-watt, single-ended Class A valve head built around an ECC83 preamp valve and a 6L6 power valve, paired here with the matching TV-112 A cabinet loaded with a Celestion A-Type speaker. The 6L6 is the power tube at the heart of classic American amplification, known for its glassy cleans, smooth compression, and shimmering top-end chime that defined the sound of American guitar music from the 1950s forward.
Controls are deliberately simple: Gain, Tone, Master, and Reverb, with a footswitchable Drive channel for pushing the power stage into warm, singing overdrive. The custom-voiced digital reverb is designed to emulate the warmth and depth of vintage American spring reverb units. A cabinet-emulated line output taken after the power stage captures the full character of the 6L6 being driven into saturation, making it equally useful for direct recording and silent practice.
The single-ended Class A topology means the power stage clips symmetrically, producing natural compression and harmonic saturation that responds directly to pick dynamics and volume knob adjustments. The Celestion A-Type speaker adds an open, balanced voice with extended highs and a tight low-end, perfectly complementing the 6L6's natural headroom and clarity.
The TV-10 AH covers the clean-to-drive spectrum, from crystalline, bell-like cleans that bloom into rich, harmonically complex overdrive as you dig in. This is for fans of the sound of players like John Mayer, Mike Campbell, Keith Richards, and Daniel Lanois, guitarists who rely on touch, dynamics, and the natural voice of the amp to shape their tone. It rewards feel over firepower, making it ideal for blues, roots, country, Americana and indie styles where every note and nuance counts.
