Elektrohauks Bass Tones – Ampeg RB-115 Clean & Crunch A collection of warm, punchy and organic bass tones captured through a Two Notes ReVolt Bass preamp and an Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-115 power amp with its 15" speaker. Two distinct tonal profiles: - Clean: Deep, rounded low-end, smooth highs, articulate mids and natural dynamics. Warm and full-bodied, with excellent clarity and definition. - Crunch: Rich harmonic saturation, gritty midrange growl and responsive breakup. Aggressive and punchy without sacrificing low-end weight or note definition. Captured using a Shure SM57 on-axis for midrange presence and a RØDE NT2-A off-axis for warmth and low-frequency depth, both positioned approximately 5 cm from the grille. Designed for versatile bass applications ranging from soulful pop and funk to alternative rock, indie and heavier guitar-driven music. Full amp and cabinet captures, with no additional cabinet simulation required.
