Description
Compression's a subtle effect--this profile pack is chosen to subtly even out with a few useful settings for GTR/Bass of the Engineer's Thumb Compressor pedal, designed by "The Valve Wizard" aka Merlin Blencowe. I built this compressor around 2012 and was made using earlier version. Controls are as follows: Gain: increases compression Output Volume: Brightness Switch: Attack Time: lower numbers result in quicker compression and less attack transient Threshold: the level at which to compress Release Time: lower numbers result in quicker return to no compression https://www.valvewizard.co.uk/engineersthumb.html Profile captured via wet/dry pair using my Behringer Ultra-G DI and RME Babyface FS interface, testing with my P Bass, Dano U2, Strat.
