Description

This capture pack is based on a Marshall JMP 2203 EL34 amp modded by Tommy Folkesson, the famed Swedish amp modder. His MK VII modification features four channels: clean, crude, crunch and lead ranked from cleanest to gainiest channel. This set was dialed in with a superstrat that has a sole 16K degaussed Alnico 5 JB style custom pickup in its bridge position. Since the pack is too large, I had to split it into two parts. You can download the second part from my tonehunt page as well. Captures denoted with an "S" at the end of their name are "Standard" captures and those denoted with a "C" are "Complex" captures that require signficantly more CPU power to run. Captures with an HG in their name are boosted with the Suhr Koko Boost Reloaded that provided a pure and linear boost of about 8dB. The rest of the captures have no boost in front of the amp. Very high quality 1200 epochs complex captures with very low ESR numbers. Made with the V3 Test Signal and the 0.9.0 trainer. The complex captures are closer to the real amp, in case you can't run them, I've also uploaded a standard capture pack of the same captures to my user page. Signal Chain: UA Apollo X8 -> Lehle P-Split III Reamp Box -> Folkesson MK VII -> Suhr Reactive Load Signal Chain Calibration: +12.4 dBu
