Frenzel Super Twin Plexi

Captures of my Frenzel Super Twin Plexi. 2 6l6s running at 50w. Basically the big brother to my Frenzel DP25, this amp is going for a Tweed Twin/Bassman vibe in channel 1 and a Marshall vibe in channel 2. C1 goes from high headroom cleans to thick Tweed Bassman style drive (though tighter). C2 is voiced quite differently, like a tighter, brighter, cleaner Marshall voice and like the DP25's C2 remains quite clean - cleaner than channel 1. The master can be pushed to get more grit but it stays pretty clean in the second channel. C2 however has a push-pull on the gain knob to enable an "800" mode. Despite the name, the "800" mode (which I will simply call C3 in any captures) doesn't really sound like a JCM800 and is more of a pushed JMP sound. Regardless it sounds like a good JMP in the "800" mode (which really should be called "JMP") and delivers some solid driven tones in it. Gainwise C3 ("800") > C1 (Tweed) > C2 (Plexi)
